Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s deposed shah, urged both the international community and the media yesterday to help support the current Iranian opposition movement.
Speaking in Paris, Mr. Pahlavi said a movement was born June 12, the day of the disputed presidential elections in Iran.
“The important thing is to keep this movement afloat and not let it die,” he said.
Mr. Pahlavi said Iran must stay in the spotlight and the international community and the media should keep political leaders informed about “the range and brutality of the oppression in Iran.”
