I wanted to thank all my compatriots, friends of Iran and the local organizers across the globe who showed their support for Political Prisoners in Iran. I followed the event via Twitter (#light4iran) and what I saw gave me strength.
Supporters young and old, standing united across the globe regardless of the local weather conditions. I saw moving images of people in the rain and snow. I salute you all for standing with those suffering in Iran. This proves to me that we can come together as one, regardless of political or religious beliefs, for a greater good – the freedom of Iran.
